Biography

 

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree through Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario and a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He is a registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Mental Health Therapists of Ontario (CRPO)

Paul was awarded a post-graduate Certificate in Integral Theory in 2009. He studied Integral Theory through John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill California. Integral theory is a mix of spirituality, philosophy, and developmental psychology.

Recently, he completed the second year of a three year training program in Somatic Experiencing® (SE™), a psychobiological method developed by Dr. Peter A. Levine (Waking The Tiger), for addressing physical and emotional trauma, PTSD, overwhelm, and stress-related conditions.

Trauma intervention Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR) in 2014. Training approved and offered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Paul has been trained in Hypnosis through the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto. The instructor, Dr. Georgina Cannon is an award-winning author, change catalyst, corporate speaker, international facilitator, and practicing consulting hypnotist.

Paul has been active in the Reiki community since his introduction and first degree initiation in 1995. He has practiced extensively under the direction and guidance of Reiki Master Bernard Morin. In July 2001, Paul was acknowledged in his Mastery and initiated by Bernard Morin. He has been a member of The Reiki Alliance since 2002.

Additionally, Paul has studied "Remote Viewing" with David Morehouse and is a graduate of the "Gateway Voyage Program" through the Monroe Institute.

Paul lives, works, and plays with his family in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
